Youth squads will help to ensure order and security at polling stations

The Republican gathering of youth law enforcement squads (YLES) brought together about 400 boys and girls from all over the country in Minsk. These guys, together with police officers, will be responsible for order and security at polling stations. They have undergone intensive training — fire, tactical and hand-to-hand combat. In addition, the youth had a cultural and educational programme: interactive platforms, exhibition of military weapons and awarding of the best YLES fighters. Now there are more than 200 youth detachments of law enforcement in Belarus. Thousands of young fighters are members of them.
