Belarus extends "land amnesty" until 2028

Belarus has extended the right to privately acquire or lease land plots with discounted rates until 1 January, 2028. This applies to land that was in use as of 1 September, 2022. Furthermore, district executive committees have been empowered to make decisions on the seizure and allocation of land plots for the construction of projects in the interests of the region or the state for state needs.
