Working visit to Gomel oblast

This year Gomel Oblast should exhibit high farming standards. This was stated by President Alexander Lukashenko as he visited the Istok farm in Rechitsa district. Special attention is to be paid to effective operations and high level of technological discipline. Alexander Lukashenko was informed about the social and economic development of the local territories and progress in spring field works.

The President also visited Rechitsadrev woodworking company which has launched production of modern chipboard and furniture. Alexander Lukashenko talked to the personnel. Among the topics were security, development of small towns, prospects of wood-processing in Belarus and planned wage growth.
