Today is the day of unity of the peoples of Belarus and Russia. Twenty-five years ago, on April 2, 1996, the Treaty on the formation of the Community of the two countries was signed, which allowed the fraternal peoples to proceed to the construction of a common union space. The Chairman of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated Belarusians and Russians on the holiday.
