Today is Day of Social Workers

The Day of Social Security Worker is celebrated in Belarus today. President Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated representatives and veterans of the service on their professional holiday. Belarus is a socially oriented state that guarantees the necessary support to every person. Social workers protect the interests and pay attention to those who, due to various circumstances, cannot take care of themselves. In the capital alone, every third Minsk resident requests assistance every year. Those are pensioners, large families, people with disabilities. And during the coronavirus pandemic, social security workers, along with doctors, were at the forefront.
