Republican gathering of silver-aged volunteers 60+ featured 250 participants

There are about 3 thousand volunteers and social activists of older age, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Alexander Rumak said at the opening of the first republican gathering of silver-aged volunteers 60+. The draft of the National Strategy for Active Longevity is being prepared for submission to the government. It includes proposals on the use of public-private partnership mechanisms in area such as providing medical and social services for elderly citizens, supporting scientific research in the field of gerontology, and the active longevity courses for the youth.
