President Alexander Lukashenko visited the 13th Minsk boarding school for children with hearing impairment.This is one of the oldest educational institutions of Minsk with a half-century history. Today, 120 children study here. The school is not only for citizens of Minsk, but also for children from remote corners of Belarus. The Head of State got acquainted with the living conditions, training, social and labor integration. According to the Belarusian leader, the state must do everything possible so that children with disabilities do not feel outsiders in the society.The development of the Belarusian education system was discussed today as well. The Head of State says that it is necessary to raise teachers" salaries by at least a quarter. The appropriate initiatives to increase this figure have already been prepared by the government.
