The ceremony of cancellation of the postage stamp commemorating the 25th anniversary of Shanghai Cooperation Organization was held in Minsk

The stamp was issued by the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of Belarus in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Its circulation is 12.000 copies. The postage stamp serves as means of preserving historical memory. Deputy Secretary-General of the organization Sohail Khan attended the event. The ceremony in Minsk was part of a large-scale series of events taking place across the SCO member states to mark the anniversary. As the head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry noted, over the two years since its membership in the SCO our country has participated in numerous events within the organization and has repeatedly initiated and organized meetings and forums under the auspices of Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
