Preliminary results of the admission campaign were announced

The admission campaign was held in full compliance with the admission rules. This was stated in the Ministry of Education. On the eve the Ministry of Education summarised preliminary results. Thus, about 30.000 people were enrolled in the country's universities on the budget. That is 2.500 more compared to last year. The number of those enrolled without entrance examinations and out of competition has also grown: this year there are more than 4.000 such children. Almost 1.500 of them are holders of gold and silver medals or college diplomas with honours. The number of applicants who have applied for target directions has exceeded 6,000 people. The most popular for them were medical, pedagogical and agricultural specialities. By the way, applicants were also actively going to regional universities – more than 16.500 applicants applied there.
