The event, which took place in the capital, brought together representatives of various religious denominations, government agencies and the Prosecutor General's Office. The conference was organized on the initiative of the Catholic Church and is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and the 150th anniversary of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth in Belarus. During the war, the nuns from Novogrudok performed a feat of self-sacrifice and humanity. In August 1943, they voluntarily and consciously sacrificed their lives to save 120 civilians who were about to be shot by the Nazis. During the conference, a representative of the Prosecutor General's Office announced accurate information about the materials of the investigation into the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War. Thus, more than 3 mln people were killed on the territory of Belarus.
