On Knowledge Day, the police will strengthen security measures near schools

On 1 September, solemn assemblies will be held at all general secondary education institutions. Police officers will be responsible for maintaining order directly at the schools. The access control regime will also be strengthened. The surrounding areas will be placed under special control: patrol units and traffic police crews will be on duty there. Rapid response teams will be deployed to deal with possible incidents.
