Grodno Oblast is hosting the Spartakiad of border guards from the CIS countries

This large‑scale sports forum brought together over 130 representatives of border agencies from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, as well as the FSO "Dynamo" team. Following the relay race, the Russian team emerged victorious, Belarus took second place, and Kazakhstan rounded out the top three. The 10‑day competition programme also includes service biathlon, service weapon shooting, border triathlon and hand‑to‑hand combat. The names of the winners, both in the individual and team competitions, will be announced on 3 September at the closing ceremony of the competition.
