New electric trains designed specifically for the Minsk subway system were presented to journalists. Until the end of 2020, 10 trains will be delivered to the Minsk subway. They are equipped with a system of "full auto-driving", which means that they can independently start off and slow down at stations. The cars have air conditioning, the necessary elements of a barrier-free environment, as well as sockets for charging gadgets. Electric trains were produced at the Stadler plant in Fanipol. Passengers will be able to try them out at the beginning of the next year.
