Marsh restoration in the Belovezha Forest

In the Belovezha Forest, the projects of restoration of the natural hydrological regime were presented. The Galevo and Zubritsa marshes located in the Belyansk forestry, as well as the network of melioration canals in the northern part of the forest were proposed for repeated waterlogging. All of the objects are part of the protected area and affect the most valuable fragments of forest ecosystems. The construction of a cascade of dams will help solve the problem of mass death of fish in the Lesnaya River.
