List of documents allowing foreigners to stay in border area to be expanded

Suggestions have been made to expand the list of documents allowing citizens of Belarus, foreigners and stateless persons permanently residing in the country to stay in the border area. This is one of the innovations envisaged by the law on border security issues. By the way, at present, it is only possible to be in the border area having a passport. The new law, according to which foreigners will be able to transit through the border zone to sanatoria, vacation house, visit roadside service facilities, passed the first reading in the House of Representatives.
