CEC accepted the documents for registration of A. Lukashenko as a candidate for President of Belarus

The documents can be submitted by both potential presidential candidates themselves and their representatives by power of attorney. Yuri Senko, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, submitted all the necessary documents to the CEC by proxy of the President. He will also represent Aleksandr Lukashenko at the session of the Central Election Commission. 22-31 December will be the period of registration of candidates for the presidency of Belarus. With the first day of the new year the election campaign will start. The presidential election in Belarus is scheduled for 26 January, 2025.
