Border checkpoint "Losha-Shumskas" becomes international today

Today the border checkpoint "Losha-Shumskas" on the Belarusian-Lithuanian border received international status. Citizens of any country can cross the border at this point 24-7, except the pedestrians. The Belarusian border can be crossed on an unregistered vehicle only with an importation certificate. It is expected that the new status of the checkpoint "Losha - Shumskas" will reduce the intensity of traffic at the “Kamenny Log” point.
