Belarusian army’s latest weapons showcased to OSCE representatives

OSCE representatives are satisfied with the inspection held in Belarus in line with the 2011 Vienna Document on Confidence- and Security-Building Measures. Today 38 delegates from 19 countries have visited the 120^th Independent Guards Mechanized Brigade. The OSCE representatives were demonstrated and briefed on Belarus’ latest military hardware, the multiple-launch rocket system Polonez and the mortar Nona. Within the framework of international commitments the OSCE member states annually share information about their weapon systems, defense planning and budgets. Belarus also takes part in the events. Last year Belarusian experts visited Germany and Slovenia.
