A natural phenomenon unusual for autumn can be observed in the south of Belarus. Chestnuts and primroses are blooming in the Gomel region. The reason for that is abnormally warm and dry weather. Over the last two days the temperature in the region has rise to +24 degrees centigrade deviating from the multi-year norm by 7 degrees. Warm temperature records have been set in Minsk, Vitebsk, Mogilev and Gomel. However the unscheduled spring will not last for long this year. Cold weather is already expected on Saturday.
