Belarus preparing for Independence Day celebrations

Preparations for the celebration of the Independence Day are underway in Belarus. Yesterday the guard of honor, featuring over 100 military men, held a rehearsal in the capital city. Forming-up figures and sophisticated drills are the highlights of the parade. The training sessions will last until the end of the month, general rehearsals with military vehicles will be held on 24 June and 28 June. Meanwhile, the mobile mechanized division has training at the airfield "Lipki". The legendary tank T-34 will lead the column. In total there are about 220 units of equipment. The aviation will be partaking as well. For the first time, after the parade, some of the equipment will be left on the streets of Minsk, so that everyone could take a closer look.
