Belarus celebrates the Day of Knowledge today. Around a million children came to schools and gymnasiums on September, 1. 110 thousand of them are first-graders. The theme of the first lesson of this year was We were Bequeathed to Protect the World. Traditionally, many schools invite famous people of the region to these lessons. By tradition, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko visited one of schools - a Minsk boarding school for children with hearing impairment.
