Belarus and China develop cooperation in education

Eight inter-university agreements were signed in Minsk by the heads of educational institutions from Belarus and China. A Department of Chinese language and culture will be established at the Linguistic University, the BNTU will develop a joint program in science and technology, and the Institute of Journalism of the Belarusian State University will launch a master's program. A research center will also be set up at the Institute of Philosophy of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Experts point out a great interest in learning Chinese among Belarusian school students.
