8 new polyclinics and 11 regional clinical hospitals to be built within 5 years

A new surgical building is being actively built in the 11th clinical hospital in Minsk. The construction is planned to be completed in 2 years. This medical facility is one of the three best in the capital city. Its 10 operating rooms host approximately ten thousand surgeries annually. It was here that a so-called one-day surgery center was opened for the first time in Belarus. The plans for the next 5 years are to build 8 polyclinics and 11 regional clinical hospitals throughout the country. The main goal of the modernization program is to increase the availability and quality of medical services in the regions.
