44 candidates were nominated by delegates of the Supreme Council from the deputy corps of the Vitebsk region

At an extraordinary session of the regional council of deputies, 44 candidates were considered. 17 people – from the primary territorial level, 18 – from the basic territorial level, and 9 people – from the regional Council. These are people who have extensive professional experience and enjoy authority among their colleagues. These include workers of the healthcare, education, and agricultural sectors. The nominations were supported unanimously. The Central Election Commission will sum up the results of the elections of delegates to the Supreme Council on April 16.
