The convergence of the positions of Minsk and
Cairo on
key issues
on the international and regional
agenda serves as a solid
foundation for bilateral cooperation.
Aleksandr Lukashenko noted
this in
his congratulatory message to Egyptian President
Abdel Fattah
El-Sisi on the occasion
of Revolution Day. The Head
of State confirmed his readiness to increase trade,
implement projects to
assemble Belarusian machinery
in Egypt,
including agricultural machinery, and create
modern grain and
feed storage facilities. The potential
for partnership
development is in
the fields of healthcare, science
and technology,
and education. The President of Belarus
noted that
he would be glad to welcome
the Egyptian leadership to
Minsk at
any convenient
time to
personally discuss specific
measures to further
expand bilateral cooperation.
