The third session of the VII Belarusian People's Congress will take place in Minsk on 17–18 December This is provided by an order signed by Aleksandr Lukashenko, the Chairman of the Congress. This year marks a milestone for the Assembly, as it is the 30^th anniversary of the first meeting. Since 2024 the Belarusian People's Congress has operated with constitutional status. The Belarusian People's Congress is the supreme representative body of people's rule in the Republic of Belarus; it defines the strategic directions for the development of society and the state, and ensures the inviolability of the constitutional order, the continuity of generations, and civil harmony.
