The President of Belarus made this statement at a state awards ceremony ahead of the Day of People's Unity. He emphasized that this high-level event kicks off a marathon of honoring and celebrating this important date — Day of People's Unity. "Let me assure you that, as the president in whom you have placed your trust, I will do everything in my power so that no one ever points a finger at us. And if they do, let it be with envy, as it is now", Lukashenko stated. Although some call Belarusians "aggressors" or something similar, the truth is, Belarus is a peaceful people who know the value of unity, the price of war, and do not want a repeat of such events, the Head of State noted.
