The President of Uzbekistan is on official visit to Belarus

The distinguished guest arrived in Belarus yesterday. The joint working programme kicked off with a one-on-one meeting. Aleksandr Lukashenko invited Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Today, at the highest level, the leaders are expected to discuss current issues and prospects for strengthening cooperation. The focus is on developing industrial cooperation and implementing joint projects. Around two dozen documents are being prepared for signing following the negotiations, including a declaration establishing a strategic partnership between Belarus and Uzbekistan.
