Belarus and Azerbaijan reaching qualitatively new level of relations

Belarus and Azerbaijan are reaching a qualitatively new level of relations. The President of Azerbaijan is on an official visit to Minsk. The negotiations between the leaders of the two countries took place at the Palace of Independence. During a one-on-one meeting, the presidents discussed not only bilateral issues, but also international agenda. During the extended negotiations they spoke mainly about the economy. Following the talks, a package of documents on the development of cooperation in specific areas was signed. The President of Azerbaijan is visiting Belarus for the fifth time. Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the hospitality and cordial reception and invited Alexander Lukashenko to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan.
