Alexander Lukashenko held meeting on topical issues of regional development

Today Belarus President held a meeting on topical issues of regional development. The head of state reminded that the general plan of the regions’ development is ready and waiting to be implemented. Alexander Lukashenko stressed that the foundation of the country’s successful development is strong economy. The President said that one of the primary tasks for the government is to concentrate on producing export-oriented and import-substituting products with a high added value. It is necessary to create conditions and incentives in regions and towns to attract labor resources. Attending the meeting were heads of government bodies, chairpersons of the region executive committees and the Minsk City Hall, the president’s aides.
