"The rule of law in the state, the observation of its norms and principles at all levels of political, social and spiritual life of people is a sign of a well-developed society", Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met in Minsk with heads of constitutional courts of foreign countries. Belarus is hosting a large-scale forum in the landmark year which marks the 25th anniversary of the Constitution. According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, Belarus is interested in the experience of foreign countries in constitutional law. The meeting was attended by Vice President of the Venice Commission. Belarus is an associated member of the organization. Over the past ten years, a number of international conferences have been held jointly with the commission in order to develop and strengthen the legal work of the courts. The current conference in Minsk is also devoted to this matter.
