Trade between Belarus and Myanmar has grown almost 2.5-fold since the beginning of 2026, setting a record for the overall economic cooperation between Minsk and Naypyidaw.
Belarus is ready to assist in the development of dairy production in Myanmar. There is interest not only in finished products, but also in experience in production organization, technology and personnel training. This has become possible thanks to the countries' consistent policy over the past few years, focused on specific projects and promising areas.
Imports from Myanmar to Belarus are also growing. Light industry is a very interesting area, as it includes footwear, textiles and rubber. Just a few days ago, the "Belarus-Myanmar" Society opened in Belarus. It emphasizes that economic development is a top priority, but social and humanitarian cooperation and genuine people-to-people contacts are of most importance.
