The capital of Belarus is hosting a meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers today. This is one of the main bodies of the Commonwealth, responsible for coordinating foreign policy activities. There are 12 issues on the agenda of the meeting in Minsk. The emphasis is on security and combating crime, countering international terrorism, coordinating the activities of law enforcement agencies. Interaction in culture and the humanitarian sphere are also in the focus. A meeting of the Council in an expanded format and the signing of official documents will be held.
