The results of the CSTO summit were summed up in the capital of Kazakhstan. The day before in Astana, the heads of state held talks in narrow and expanded formats. The agenda, in particular, included summing up the year of Kazakhstan’s chairmanship, a general declaration and a statement on coordinated measures against members of terrorist groups. The priorities also included the modernization of the CSTO command structure and collective rapid response forces. The leaders of the countries decided on the statute of the CSTO Crisis Response Center, discussed current issues of international and regional security, and approved a strategy to combat illegal migration through 2025.
