The Hi-Tech Park has begun developing the cryptosphere

The development of the cryptosphere was discussed by the government at a session of the Supervisory Board of the Hi-Tech Park (HTP). Today, the HTP comprises over 1.000 resident companies whose digital solutions have already been integrated into everyday life. More than 30 companies have expressed an interest in joining the HTP, drawn by the favorable operating conditions in Belarus. However, fierce global competition necessitates the refinement of existing approaches. Plans are underway to connect HTP crypto-resident companies to the National Bank’s automated incident processing system, which monitors cyberattacks and illicit transfers. This will enable IT companies to instantly block suspicious digital wallets. Another key topic was the inclusion of a new type of activity – additive technologies –within the scope of the HTP.
