Prospects for cooperation between Belarus and the Altai Republic were discussed at the Council of Ministers

The Altai Republic is interested in the Belarusian experience regarding sanatorium and health resort treatment. As A. Turchak noted during a meeting at the Council of Ministers, Belarus managed to preserve — and even expand — its health resorts, even during challenging times. Belarusian expertise in this area is in high demand, particularly given the current interest in developing this sector with a focus on the use of "velvet antlers" (young, unossified deer antlers). These antlers are widely used in medicine, pharmacology, and cosmetology as a potent tonic. The two sides have expressed a readiness to work more closely in the fields of agriculture, tourism, and pharmaceuticals.
