Regional cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan is gaining momentum

Cooperation has intensified, including thanks to the agreements reached earlier. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Viktor Karankevich during a meeting with the khokim of the Tashkent region of Uzbekistan, Zoir Mirzayev. The plans are to increase mutual trade turnover to $2 billion by 2030. At the same time, the emphasis is not only on the supply of goods, but also on cooperation. The parties are currently implementing six new projects jointly in Minsk, Gomel, Grodno and Brest.
