Grodno Oblast intends to expand cooperation with Georgia

Yuri Karayev, Chairman of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee, met with Ambassador of Georgia to Belarus Giorgi Saganelidze. The parties discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in trade, industry, the agro-industrial complex, culture and tourism. Promising areas include the supply of wood-processing products as well as meat and dairy goods. Six enterprises with Georgian capital operating in the food service and retail sectors are registered in Grodno Oblast. Positive trends in trade and economic cooperation were noted, and collaboration with the embassy will pave the way for specific projects.
