A government delegation headed by the Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko is on a working visit to Russia. The program includes Pskov region and the Republic of Bashkortostan. The focus is on the development of trade and economic cooperation. As Prime Minister noted, last year there was a record growth of turnover with the Russian Federation. Now exports to Russia have grown by 0.4% in dollar equivalent. At the same time, contracts are concluded in Russian rubles, while the proceeds are received in Belarusian rubles. In general, trade turnover between the union countries exceeded $25 bln in the first six months of the year. Russian exports to Belarus and Belarusian exports to Russia have increased.
