Belarus is increasing cooperation with Russian regions

The focus is on import substitution programmes, microelectronics, aircraft manufacturing and mechanical engineering. The Head of the President Administration, Dmitry Krutoi, noted that Belarus has developed its own specifics with each region of the Russian Federation in recent years, with each Governor there are anchor projects that are monitored and accompanied and, accordingly, they receive priority attention. But the general attitude towards industry in terms of allocating financial resources, regional subsidies and investment money from the Union State budget is also very important. Industries related to microelectronics, aircraft manufacturing and automotive components are encouraging with their growth today.
