Belarus fullt self-sufficient in fertilizers

The domestic market remains a priority for mineral fertilizer producers. Last year, Belneftekhim and Belaruskali shipped over a million tons of fertilizers for the agricultural sector. Taking into account the demands of agriculture for the range and the export potential of domestic producers, a strategy for the development of the petrochemical complex until 2030 has been developed. The trend is towards increasing demand for complex supplements. They provide balanced mineral nutrition to plants. The Gomel Chemical Plant supplied over 20 thousand tons of such fertilizers for spring sowing.
