Belarus and Chuvashia discuss joint projects

The government of Belarus and Russia's Chuvash Republic discussed specific cooperation projects. In particular, the parties talked about joint production of agricultural machinery and special equipment. Machine building has been a traditional cooperation area for Chuvash and Belarusian manufacturers for many years. At least four units of new vehicles are currently under development. For example, the Chuvash side suggests assembling tracked vehicles at the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant. Joint production of armored excavators is also under consideration.
