Zhitomir hosts 2nd Belarus-Ukraine regional forum

The 2nd Forum of Regions of Belarus and Ukraine is underway in Zhimotir, Ukraine. 
Representatives of hundreds of enterprises of the two countries will formalize agreements with mutually beneficial contracts. On display will be about four dozen machines and vehicles, including samples of co-assembly. The format of the Forum of Regions proved its effectiveness a year ago in Gomel, Belarus. Preliminary contract amounts were estimated at one hundred million dollars. The final figure this year may grow four times. On October 4, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko is to pay a working visit to Ukraine. The head of state will speak at a plenary session of the forum, which is to highlight the potential of cooperation between the two countries through the prism of interregional ties.
