Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Mikheil Janelidze is arriving in Belarus today. The agenda of his visit includes top-level talks, meetings in the government, parliament, and the Foreign Ministry. The key topic will be bilateral cooperation in various fields and joint projects. Today, the trade and economic cooperation between the two countries is developing actively. As of the first six months of 2017, the turnover exceeded 53 million dollars, which is 30% more than in the same period last year. At a meeting in Minsk in March, the two heads of states - Alexander Lukashenko and Giorgi Margvelashvili – set the target for the mutual trade at 200 million dollars.
