An MTZ assembly plant will open in South Africafollowing the memorandum of understanding and cooperation signed by the plant"s management and the Mpumalanga Department of Economic Development. The partners are currently negotiating a range of machinery to be assembled inSouth Africa. MTZ is ready to provide full engineering and consultation support to the new project. Its plans include entering the markets of third countries, includingMozambique andSwaziland. Detailed work on the project will begin in January 2017.
