The Moldovan government has approved a draft agreement withBelaruson the assembly of MAZ buses. It is planned that the buses will be assembled from Belarusian components. The modernization of the bus fleet will allow Chisinau to reduce the cost of spare parts and consumables to 200 thousand euro per year, with the increase in the volume of passenger traffic. Another positive effect is creation of new jobs. The Ministry of Economy ofMoldovaand the Ministry of Industry ofBelarussigned a memorandum of cooperation last July in the presence of the presidents of the two countries.
