Latvia is interested in cooperating with Belarus in science and information technology.<br> <br>Latvia Days are scheduled to launch in Belarus today. This year"s campaign, which has already become traditional, includes tens of meetings, round table discussions and cultural programmes, the central event being a Belarusian-Latvian business forum which is currently being held in Minsk.<br>As noted today by Latvian Economy Minister Dana Reizniece-Ozola, Latvia is interested in cooperating with Belarus in science and IT. To this end, the Minister will visit the High-Tech Park.<br>As of last year, the volume of Belarus-Latvia trade amounted to nearly 565.5 million euros, with Belarus becoming Latvia"s 12th partner in foreign trade. Moreover, Belarus" trade surplus is positive.
