A delegation of Ecuador"s National Assembly is currently paying a visit to Belarus. President Alexander Lukashenko announced his plans to visit Ecuador this year during today"s meeting with President of the National Assembly of Ecuador Gabriela Rivadeneira Burbano. This was preceded by the signing of an agreement on cooperation with the National Assembly of Ecuador and the Latin American Parliament in the House of Representatives.<br>Belarus and Ecuador established a close partnership in 2013. The parties believe that the current trade turnover of 77 million dollars does not correspond to the countries" enormous potential.<br>An agreement on cooperation in taxation has been signed earlier this year in Minsk. An agreement on mutual visa abolition is currently in force and six projects between Belarus and Ecuador in trade, agriculture, education, science and technologies are currently being prepared.
