Work at the Nezhinski Mining and Processing Plant in the Luban district will begin in late December. Currently, two production facilities are being setup there. The drilling rigs, which will provide access to the potash beds, are unparallelled in Europe. The technology makes it possible to work twice as fast as traditional methods. The project is being implemented by a large international team. It is supervised by specialists from Germany. Their main task is to share experience with the Belarusian colleagues. Starobinskoye deposit is the largest potash basin in Europe. As planned, the Nezhinski Plant will produce up to 2 million tons of potassium chloride per year.
