Two new oil fields discovered in Belarus

A New Year gift from Belarusian oil workers. Two new oil fields have been discovered in the country. Both of them are located in the Rechitsa district, Gomel region. The oil deposits were found at a depth of more than 4 thousand meters. The geological reserves at the field are estimated at almost 900,000 tons, of which about half can be extracted. The well operation at the deposits will begin in January 2018.
